Laidlaw offers a kaupapa Māori approach to support businesses, governance boards, not-for-profit organisations, communities and whānau, hapū & iwi. Our services span law, dispute resolution, strategy, policy, capability and capacity building.

Tūhono Mediation Training - April 2021

Australian CLC Conference - Nov 2019

We welcomed our first intake of the formal accreditation pathway to Tūhono tikanga-based mediation practice in April with a 3-day training course held at Te Papa Museum, Wellington.

Our team presented at the Australian Community Law Conference in Brisbane, Australia. They presented on trans-Tasman injustices of refugees in Australian detention centres as well as indigenous models of leadership.

Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho Conference - Sep 2018

Our principal presented at the Ngā Taonga Taku Who Conference in Nelson, NZ on a panel discussing the protection of Māori intellectual property. Other panel members included Moana Maniapoto, Kiri Nathan, Rio Hemopo & Terri Janke.
